I would only put out that, if he should win the nomination, his 'politics' resume would be unmatched by any other figure in the nation. except perhaps his by opponent.
What are the job requirements for the position? I guess that depends on whether you think the ship is heading in the right direction and on fire, or in the wrong direction and on fire. Neither Obama nor anybody else has been willing to address policy matters in any way disturbing to their base. So it's a wash unless someone steps up with a message that has more resonance (note: resonance does not imply 'soundness'). In the end, nobody's got a better resume than the guys that got us into this shit, so I'm just going to wait for them to tell me what Obama's not qualified to do.
