As a matter of fact, that was one of my assumptions, and would also be one of my basic rules. But that's just me.

I always get the scent of a freshly opened bag of Fritos. Not the scoop kind but the original curly chip.

But would you lick guacamole off them? Not the bottom ones, but that weird fucking thumb halfway up their arm?

1. Assuming that one's dog (or wolf) is groomed regularly, what is the most effective interval for bathing said animal?

2. Where does this event take place? (i.e. outside with garden hose, kitchen sink, bath tub?)

3. Appropriate (approximately) water temperature?

4. Does doggie shampoo affect a dog's eyes the same as human shampoo in a human's eyes?

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

I feed my dog and the alpha cat directly from my mouth and they don't seem to mind.

When they stink.

2. Where does this event take place? (i.e. outside with garden hose, kitchen sink, bath tub?)

In the bathroom. A specially outfitted bathroom with rubber walls, huge drains on the floor and a barbed wire barrier across the tub between the washer and the washee.

3. Appropriate (approximately) water temperature?

In my experience, I've found that a temperature of -32 or less greatly hinders the rambunctiousness of the pet. When his(her) nose turns blue it's time to let them tear across the house shaking off water on every possible surface. They will probably visit rooms you never knew you had.

4. Does doggie shampoo affect a dog's eyes the same as human shampoo in a human's eyes?
You are not obliged to wash their eyes.
