Actualy thoses three bottles are waiting for a chance to have the Corks pulled .... I want to do it at a Cook out or Camping type thing where I deffinatly will not be going anywhere after...... because the barrel behind (5 gallon french oak) is full of homemade Cab will be ready this year also... Maybe a BWOT thing if any one else likes fine Wine the bottles are ...
left to right.... 1984 Charles Krug Special Reserve Cab 6 litter, 1985 Charles Krug Grand Reserve 8 litter Cab and a 2 litter 1994 Charles Krug Private Reserve Cab with a 5 gallon barrel of 2002 Napa Valley Lodi Farms Cab grape that took over 1.3 years to ferment and then it has been in the new french oak barrel since.
Trust me it is super smooth I do not like wine that has a dry cotton mouth after taste or headache causing sulfer dioxcide in it.
