Loss my Marbles?

Its been long time since I have fun with this car... It was sold and now digging thru the old pictures I find myself wanting another one again.
This one was an 1985 - 328GTX with an 1989 - 328GT engine and haul ass it did.. was not supper fast off the line however once you were up and running it handled very well due to nonstock suspension and brake system plus it had been dropped 2 inchs (yeah yeah the bottom did scrape now and then). So should I? oh oh wrong forum for that question...

Have you got a good place to play with it often. That has been the primary reason I don't get into the real exotics anymore as I don't have any place to run them.

If you do, then that is a fun car. Well balanced. If the money is not stupid. I would think that the next few months the prices might come down a bit.

Hmmm Good question Was in the Ferrari Club in NY and we would hit the Wakin's Glen track on Labor day weekend then then hit Lime Rock in Conn. I will have to look and see whats here in Utah, No No! not the Salt Flats! well maybe once? And yeah the price drop is hitting em so that is starting to make em attractive.

If I am not mistaken there is a Auto Country Club just north of SLUT that you can join. Don't remember details.

The SEC did very nice on the Salt Flat access roads by the way.

Looks like the GTSs are running about $40K for good examples. That is not a bad deal Hemmings has 9 listed right now.

Thats not too bad however I know where there is one currently sitting with an blowen head gasket that I drained everything out and refilled the engine with fresh oil for the guy and made sure no water was left in the engine block and cylinders. He was going to do something with it and now its been just over 2 years and its still sitting..... Maybe if I offer $$$$ now he might..

i have a 308 GTSi, which is similar, in the fact tht its not realy fast of the line, but in a long run can it cna really fly, so like the posts above, enless you ahve a place where you cna run it, then its a good deal, and if the money is good aswell, but if you dont have a place to let it rip and your not a fan of the turny roads then i dont suggest buying it. However this is my 308, the 328 may very a bit but in general it is a similar car from my opinion at least

Why torture yourself with an unreliable Ferrari piece of fuck? If you just want something to race and run in the ground get a damn camaro, old vette, or 300zx. They are cheap, stay cheap, and have better torture integrity than that malignant malfeasance from Maranello.

LOL because the 328 in the picts was mine and had a vette it has horriffic take off power however typical vette handled like shit (I did almost 360s twice in it) only thing I found the vette good for was a ____________ with no curves, Plus I just plain really don't understand how to work on merickan cars...
