You're perfectly within your "rights" to infer all of those intentions from the meager verbiage found in the BoR, but my entire point is to make it clear that none of that is explicitly spelled out in the document. I personally think both the Second and Third are just plain silly wastes of good real estate, but I'm more than a bit bothered that the First lacks specificity in conferring to me Constitutional rights to make a complete ass of myself, at will.

The Izaak Walton League has a very nice skeet, trap, rifle, and handgun range just up the street from me in Damascus, Maryland.
You can shoot anything up to 50 BMG up there, great people, and a great place to be...
