One !! you'll need more than one to buy your way out of real trouble Robert .
But a wise move not to keep it in the land of milk and honey with all the honesty abound there.

No consensus.

If I wuz in the housing & construction business I'd be skeert. If I wuz a stockbroker I'd be skeert.

The rest of us are confused.

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.

How equities are doing has little or nothing to do w/ whether we are in a recession or not. How the GDP is doing over a six month period might... Let's get real folks!

People are really scared. The 'negative-wealth effect' from lost value in homes and equities looks to be a tidal wave.

I hate selling at a loss, and I'm prepared to wait with the rest of it. But it might be years and years. What a waste! At least I bought into some short positions

The primary cause of uncertainty is the drive-by media over-hyping every little negative and ignoring every positive in our economy. They feed on fear! It is what pays their bills. Good news isn't nearly as interesting as fear and panic, so they thrive on fear and panic and most of the unwashed masses just fall in line believing their left-wing hype. After a while it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
