An interesting fact: The 'decade' did not start until January 1, 2001. Year 2000 was the last year of the twentieth century (hence, why they call it the 20th century). So, for all who didn't know, the new millennium did not begin until January 1, 2001. I know there's people stupid enough to argue about it and I've been guilty of arguing with stupid people in the past, but I'll refrain- this time.

Another Reagan era repeat with the economy while international blunders add fuel to the notion Americans are fallng behind. Standard of living has fallen for the majority while many Americans still confuse honesty with religion.

I have called this the Naughties since the Y2K era but I have to disagree with Dig that Naught is unknown in the States.

After all we are the home of the original Double Naught Spy

To be sure, I said "not common". I never said "unknown".

I am a bit confused as to your claim of home to Jethro. I did a quick search for Bugtussle, Tennessee. It shows up on the map as just across the state line in Kentucky. How can that be?
