Bush admitted to hospital after collapsing..............
George W Bush admitted to hospital after collapsing on hearing he is not allowed to stand again for US President
In what many observers are calling 'sad' - President George W Bush has been admitted to hospital after throwing what one aide called 'a tizzy fit'.
Bush, was it seems, unaware that he would not be running for President in the 2008 elections. It came then as a shock when he was told by senior aides that his tenure in the White House was coming to an end this year.
Bush spokesman and former Bionic man, Lee Majors explains "We were watching cartoons, as we usually do on a Sunday afternoon, when George inadvertently switched channels to CNN. There was a report about Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama being broadcast and the President said 'we'd better start our campaign next week'. We all thought he was joking so we laughed - but he was serious."
When the President was told that he was unable to run in the 2008 election he flipped. After calling his father, who confirmed that the constitution forbid him from running, all hell broke lose.
Another Bush spokesman, former Happy Days star Tom Bosley takes up the story "It was so sad. First his little lips began quivering, then he cried for what seemed like hours before he lost control of his bladder and then his temper." Bosley, obviously still visibly shaken by the President's breakdown continued "He threw his toy firetruck across the room then snapped his crayons - he then began stamping his feet before hyperventalating - thats when we called the ambulance."
The President was rushed to hospital before he could damage anymore toys. Hospital spokeswoman, former Cagney and Lacey star Tyne Daly, issued this statement. "The President is doing much better. Mom and Dad are here and they brought his blanky and Mr Cuddles, his favourite teddy bear. He is watching Sponge Bob and eating ice-cream. He's going to be fine."
Majors, a close friend of the President, was asked who he thought Bush would endorse, now he knew that he wouldn't be involved in the election. "You know - he doesn't really know much about politics to be honest - so I doubt he will really have any idea about any of the nominees."
Bush will return to the White House tomorrow.
