Mr. Cunt,
It is dumb asses like you and Jay put this country into the shape it is now. I guess you are damn proud to be part of the third world, huh?

Even the Canadian dollars worth more then our green backs, let alone the Euros. Oh even the Indians refused to accept the green back. Keep pounding your own chest, see where that will get you. Arrogant pompous self righteous right wing conversations bastards. I have plenty of penny rolls saved up just for soon-to-be pan handlers like you and Jay.

How much further would you care for me to go in listing just what parts of the economy Bush controls. I got time, facts and evidence.
McBare: You seemingly confuse the structure of government agencies with their functions and purposes, which are primarily restricted by their budgets and the laws passed by Congress giving mandates to them.

"Machinations" is not a cogent description.

Commerce does not control overseas contracting for production.

Labor can have no effect on our economy with the hordes crossing our southern borders.

Who were you wailing at when Carter was President or when Clinton presided over the beginning of a recession ? Expecting the current president to control our cyclical economy is just wishful thinking, another feature of Gimmiecrats wanting a nanny state.

BTW: Don't you think eloud can defend his own statements?

Are you actually suggesting that the windfall profits and unfathomable enrichment of Bush administration cronies over the past few years is mere coincidence? Of course, he did require the collusion of a GOP congress for six years, but that wasn't exactly a difficult hurdle to overcome as it turned out...

Gee, skippy I guess you don't really have a clue do you?

You really might want to check again as to what Commerce and Labor do. Note I mentioned NOTHING about the hordes coming across the southern border, although that sorta slipped by Bush also.

But to honestly answer one of your questions, when Clinton took over the NAFTA flag from Bush1, I was one of the folks railing against it very strongly as I predicted then, as it has proven to show that jobs would move out of the country without the resultant raising of the standard of living for Mexicans who would then spend Pesos on American products.

While we do have a cyclical Economy, we also have much POLICY BASED ECONOMICS that impact our Economy. Deregulation over the past 7 years of Commerce, Labor, SEC, FED and others have allowed companies to, as examples 1) move 1/6 manufacturing jobs OUT of the US, 2) bring in 230% of limit of H1Bs over the past 6 years, 3) inspection of only 10% of active Coal and Mineral Mines, 4) inspection of only 3% of all containers coming into US ports, 5) complete failure of regulation of Sub-Prime Mortgage system, 6) predatory lending practices in credit card industry. These are all items that have occurred due to POLICY decisions in the past 7 years and have materially impacted the economy extraneous to cyclic tendencies.

And YES, machinations was the correct, clear descriptor. Sorry you don't know, or understand the word.

Guys, am I suppose to be offended by the renaming McBare? Usually when I give out my email address I do tell every one the correct spelling and add that it's not McBare, the Scottish Porn site.

But you know, McBare does pretty well.

Once again, GS, you throw out slanderous phrases with no substance or proof. It's called "windfall profits" when you don't own the shares and you are planning on taxing it.
