If I find an 'Old Guy" 90 to 92, can I put Impala SS wheels on it and lower it a bit?

No. STOP IT. Get out of my head!

126 126 126 126 126 126 ommmmmmmmmm.

All of these Fleetwoods must have this done to them.

1. Front shocks, Bilsteins only, rear level ride is too good to mess with
2. Larger diameter anti roll bars front and back, see ADDCO about these bolt ons.
3. 15x7 wheels and 235/70 rubber. 5.7 comes with 7's, 5.0''s come with '6
4. Exhaust, stay with single pipe but put a high flow muff with resonator.
5. Done.

You will be able to take corners with just about any contemporary sedan.

If you truly want performance get a LT1 Fleetwood of the '94 to '96 vintage. Do the same susp. add changes and impala SS wheels look good on these as long as you remove the impala emblem and place a stick on caddy emblem in them. Also the front shocks are the same on any '77 and up fleet as an impala SS.

YES, get yourself a w126. A well maintained one is worth its weight in oil.

I had a hard time fixing my brakes but once I figured out how to bleed the system it's just fine. This big monster will stop on a dime even when it had air in the system. Again, get yourself a real car (w126) and stay away from American made cars (every American car I had ended up mechanically shot within 100K while my Benz has 300K miles and works like a fine Swiss watch).

I know a mechanic who can make it run like a fine German car, again.

This might be fun in a Fleetwood.

"IT" is a 1974 Cadillac Fleetwood Talisman.

Whoa, that is one ugly-ass pos car – straight from the Detroit Dark Ages.

Are you suffering from some type of mental disorder, Dig?

If you want a 126 talk to brucemendel on the board. He should still have a very nice 88 in silver with a freshly done motor. I was going to buy it but wifie liked the 2000 S500 so we have a 2000 S500 that I don't know jack about working on.
