Pelosi exaggerating Democrat success

This according to liberal David Broder... "An honest assessment of the year would credit the Democrats with some achievements...But much of the year’s political energy was squandered on futile efforts to micromanage the strategy in Iraq, and in the end, the Democrats yielded every point to the president. That left their presidential candidates arguing for measures in Iraq that have limited relevance to events on the ground — a potential weak point in the coming election."

We should remember that the Democrats have achieved one notable thing: they made us abandon the incandescent light bulb. The market introduced the CFL about nine years ago and its acceptability is growing phenomally. But, you know, it can't be happening unless government mandates it.

Be sure to save me your burned out bulbs. I'll use them in my darkroom.

Psssssssst!!! Got any R-3 chemicals?

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and thats what I intend to reverse.

R3 ... KODAK Chemicals: Processing Manuals Index

It's an obsolete photo processor. I still have an enlarger, processor, and a couple thousand feet of paper and transparency film. What I don't have is chemicals.
