Very glad that November was good although I am much more interested to see the end of the year numbers that actually count.
I am very disappointed that Wall Street decided to shovel out all the bonuses this year for the lackluster and worse performance of the financial sector. I think that will come back to haunt them sooner rather than later.
As an example, if your broker house wrote off bad second tier mortgages in the $Billion+ range AND gave bonuses to their management you should be vary dubious of their judgment. There are core problems in a company that would do that. Reasoned companies do not reward failure. And neither should the clients.
Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.
