She is sorting around trying to get a presentation ready for Thursday of next week to see what they want to do from their end. I have about 1/3 of my stuff with them and it actually performed pretty well this year considering but it was loaded with international funds so that is to be expected. I don't think that will repeat as nice this next year.
Next Thursday, isn't that the day after you meet with your 3 buddies to discuss the next step. Did she have an comment on the Ambrose Evans-Pritchard report from above?

OMG! They must really NOT look forward to "talking" w/ you!! When the client starts out by calling you a lying son-of-a-bitch it is all down-hill after that.

She had read it after I sent it to her and she then sent it to a couple of other folks [I know since they had me on their comment distribution list]. She said we would go over that on Thursday. Since she gets to deal with a slice of things we will talk about international opportunities and things that deal specifically with that article. It will be interesting. We have two hours blocked.

Actually she and I have a very good working relationship. She has never deceived me that I am aware of. I send her information to read that concerns me or that I need input on that their wonks can research easier than I can since they have some inside access points.

I think she usually does look forward to it. Last meeting her manager was there also as we were in a discussion on a Brazil index fund which I have had for the past 4 years [EWZ] and we keep going back and forth on whether the Brazilian economy can keep growing at the rate it has been.

Now the first time I talked to her I did tell her that all she needed to do was tell me the truth, everytime, no matter what it was. That anything else would send me somewhere else. But she was fine with those simple ground rules.

Too bad that "surveys" don't actually invest. Surveys aren't worth the paper they are written on...

Not necessarily... I used to teach a course in survey construction and if nothing else my students learned how bad most survey data were and why they should not usually trust the results. Hell, a mere comma in the right/wrong place can change the results of some questions. The use of a question-mark instead of a period can really skew the hell out of some responses. And so forth...
