If you're taking orders, MM, I'd be eternally grateful if you could liberate a Les Paul Zakk Wylde custom for me. I know they're out of production now, but I'm sure they've got one hiding in there somewhere.

Many thanks!

If that is the place I am thinking about they have very good instruments there. The collector stuff is amazing.
I don't know McBear, the GF and I drove back and forth quickly from Louisville because they were holding a used Martin for me that looked good on their website. Cosmetically it was not one I wanted and we left right after I played it. What I do remember is that Gruhn's is in the middle of the tourist area, and very close to their downtown.

They supposedly DO have quite a few "collector's grade" instruments on one of the upper floors (like that $35,000 Johnny Cash Martin I mentioned) but we were only in the cheap seats.

I'll look into that, but right now I know nothing at all about any of the Cincinnati music stores. Years ago I visited a nice stereo store there somewhere, but I have no idea where that was or the name of it.

I think it was yoseyman who was taking the orders, but if he's open to it, I'd like to place a couple too!

I was going to give these out to the OT'ers for Christmas but seems things got kinda fouled up when the bus driver turned me in to the authorities for Larceny.

If Chet's body was involved (and I suspect it was) it would be called Grand Larceny...........

Gruhn's is worth the drive, I've bought many an instrument over the years from George, including a '72 D28 I've had for eons.

Chet did take the Country Gentleman name over to Gibson, don't know the details.

I've had lots of both Gibsons and Gretches over the years, currenly have a Gold Top Les Paul and two Gretsches, different guitars for different purposes.

I've been a Fender man mostly, wish I had all the teles, strats and P basses I've owned over the years, especially the '63 white strat I bought in '65.

Guitar Center has tons of Gibsons, including some exclusives.

Just restarted my garage band, tons of fun

Rock on!

As Bill just said, Guitar Center has the entire line of Gibson, from $300-$9000. Their Cincinnati store has about 750 guitars on display from a quick SWAG. Many very VERY nice guitars. Acoustics are in a humidor for correct humidity. It is located on the north rim of Cincy, at Cincinnati Mills.

While looking on the web site it APPEARS there is one in Lexington now, I am assuming out at the new Hamburg Pavilion off I-75. Looks like I might slide out there tomorrow.

McBear,
