HELLO.New here. I have a 97 420E. with a amber passenger side mirror. Asked the dealer about the amber last year as it was difficult to see. they said it was ok and that's the way it looks. Anyway, I looked at another MBZ with the amber mirror and it looked much clearer. Left my car outside for 8 days while having concrete replaced. There was a drip of very dark 'grease? that ran down on the door. I finally removed it with a solvent (approx. 45 min) was very careful. Now the mirror appears to be clear on the top half and cloudy (as before) on the bottom half. Can this be remidied without replacing the whole unit. Anyway to drain the remaining oil from the mirror to have it clear.
Any suggestions............Thank you

Look I made my fingernails nice and shiny with sand paper, why don't you try that?
Try sucking the oil out, how good are you at blowing in?
