You assume too much.

I only use the NeoCon label to address those who either profess to be of the NeoCon sub-contingent of the Republican or those who tend to vehemently defend them, their beliefs and tenants or their actions and policies [i.e. NeoCon Cheerleaders]. As an example you would never hear me, nor most on this board talk of McCain or Paul as NeoCons even though we don't agree with their platform. No hairspray from this end.

And as for what Rush calls folks. It is an irrelevant echo. He only yaps at his choir, no one else listens. He considers anyone he doesn't agree with to be Liberal. Cool. Nothing wrong with being called a liberal. I saw on another part of BW today a comment that I thought would be interesting on OT. Poster said "I assume cars generally like the right wing parties more than left (US doesn't really have a left wing, as seen from outside)." . Those in the Republican Party don't understand it at all and those in the Democratic Party can't fathom themselves as Center to Center Right.

Frankly I see nothing wrong with being considered a Liberal, Although I think by World standards I am just about in the center. We aren't the only party in the sandbox.

Maybe that's why Bloomberg is talking to Obama. Maybe Bloomberg thinks that Clinton will win the Democrat nomination. Then Bloomberg can "triangulate" between the Repo's Wacko and Cliton. And by drafting Obama to be his VP, Bloomberg sucks the life out of the looney left. Then who will Cliton have -- Repos? Not a freaking chance. The Bloomberg Obama ticket would force Clinton to go farther left to keep the activist Democrats in her fold. But going left will alienate more than half of the independents.

I'm betting a Bloomberg-Obama post-primary insurgency bankrolled by Bloomberg's billions.

B
That would certainly be an interesting move if Bloomberg wants in that bad. Something like that might work but I still think that a late play would not be effective. Also Bloomberg has baggage so I am not so sure that he would suck the air out of the Left. They have dealt with defectors before. And Clinton would not need the Repubs. With a three way race, who ever is the Dem candidate does not need a pure majority at that point. Bloomberg would also be siphoning off Repubs at the same time, you have to consider.

What I would rather see this political season is both parties, just after the Super Primaries, NAME THEIR ENTIRE CABINETS. Let us see the entire team before we make such a big decision.

Exactly what are you betting? I'll take some of that...

Exactly.

If we were to ask Limbaugh he would say that not all Democrat Party members are liberals and would then provide us with a list of characteristics of "liberal" and then suggest that the majority of Democrats are merely being duped by liberals.

I am surprised that the symmetry eludes you. To me it is evident.

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.

I hope that you will restrain yourself in the future, but that's your decision.

If you'll trouble yourself to note, I never indicated who it was that I was referring to. You brought yourself out of the closet like an Idaho senator.
I should probably let this go, and I would have but your pointless insult to MTU over yonder baffles me. This the same guy who had the informative post out of nowhere that impressed you about fisheries depletion on my thread and you seem to find a need to diss him hard with that ivory tower dismissiveness you specialize in. I mean what is the point?

Your post above displays a good part of why I find you irritating. First: you never told me before that you didn't want to communicate by PMs. Must've been some other guy at MS. You answered a couple of mine, and PMed me once, asking me to back off on a thread cause you were trying to sniff out a retread, a possibly banned member you wanted to out. I'm thinking 'dude must have some time on his hands' but I deleted my post just for shits and giggles.

I haven't PMed you for at least a year (until the one here a week ago) and as you didn't answer, I ceased.

Your banning, best I can sus out, was very simple. WB PMed us both, telling us to take it offline. I answered "Yup, it's gotten way less than pretty," period. He answered "Thank you." After I saw you were banned, I PMed him with "Bot is banned??" He answered that it had nothing to do with me. I PMed another Mod and he said from what little he knew, it appeared that you gave grief to a mod over something he asked you to do.

My guess is that you said something along the lines of what you've said here, i.e. 'don't wan' do no Valentines with some wanker stalker fan boy.'

Valentines? KMyGDedA. Ditto for this 'stalker' crap. What was with that post of yours on BLGB's thread about the meeting he, Jim, and I had? The one that went, "why don't ya'all just get a room and have some fun?" And then there were those several posts of yours trying to tell me that mathematicians were not scientists, merely scribes or technicians, I dunno what. These were not stalking I suppose, but merely Bot slapping down some fools who had it coming. Oh golly, I guess I missed the chance to score valuable points in the Machiavellian mind game sweepstakes by not posting a picture of some sad dude in a polyester suit after those. How can I possibly catch up?

Oh, I've got it. I'll get some mod to be my bitch and ban you for a week to give you a well deserved smack down. (raised to the seventh power)

Dude, say what you want, you don't know the history of this. The man has talent but shoots himself in the foot and then gets indignant when people call him on it.

You got something to say? Say it.

Hey, dude. Sometimes I wonder why I care. I mean this stuff will not add a penny to my worth, more likely take away from it, in the short run anyway.

Funny thing, the worthy botanist is near the top in the post count category, both places, jumps on and clings to those he feels deserve a good bitch slapping but that is in no way stalking.

Comes across like drama queen action to me: 'See how these fools pester me?'

Dude, the one time I've seen the Botsenwarrior act humble was after he put out a ridiculous post, linking Z with Stalinists, a couple of years back. Z came back with a first rate smackdown and disappeared (from weariness, I reckon) for months. In the first days, Bot was everywhere with: "Anyone seen Z?"

Couldn't quite figure it, I mean all you had to do was click on Z's 'find posts' button to see where his last one was. Was it genuine contrition or a public show of it? Who knows? Again, I wonder why I care.
