Well, that "perspective" may be illuminating, and illustrative, and I am not chasing him off the forum, (he likes it and wants to stay), but so far it has never been my policy to complain to the moderators about those folks, because, as was said to me,

"He'll still be him, for the next several lifetimes".

That works for me.

For his part, he is free to say whatever he wants, I don't care.

He reminds me of a 5 year old child screaming and ranting out the window of a passing school bus.

In the end, nothing will change. The school bus will get to school; he will get off, and go to class, and someone will take away his lunch money.

Then why all the vitriol? He seems pretty harmless to me...of course, all of ya'll seem pretty harmless to me, 'cause none of this is real.

Actually, in this thread, we see how the persona can get in the way of the message. Case in point: Post 3, where Punjab says: "heh, heh......it is but for the demented minds of 'man' who fails to understand and confuses himself! heh, heh......typically as this Toronto nutter!" Taking out the heh heh's and inserting proper punctuation, it becomes "it is, but for the demented minds of 'man' who fails to understand and confuses himself, typically, as this Toronto nutter." If you consider that he was responding to the statement "I thought Muslim was a peaceful religion," and then read it as I have transposed, you realize that he wasn't defending the actions at all, but rather was saying the man who did this was confused and wrong. This is reinforced by his post 20, 31, and 39, yet the "opposition" wails away as though he held the gentleman in high regard.
While I wouldn't expect this little bit of perspective to change any hardened positions, maybe a pause or two to comprehend a message would be appropriate.

Right. Same with the Teddy Bear thread, where he essentially sides with the teacher, but doesn't use clear, concise language while doing so.
