The Blotter: Another KBR Rape Claim Brings Scrutiny
You are not going to get anywhere misquoting my post. I took exception to JimSmith blaming the rape on the administration's policies. And now I see you are doing the same thing.

Speaking of dehumanizing others, take a look at the Amanda Knox case. A student from Seattle, studying abroad in Italy, currently resides in an Italian jail with her boyfriend suspected in the murder of her roommate. A terrible, shameful situation, worse in its consequences than the rape of a KBR employee. Now, since her home University receives federal money from the government are you going to insist that somehow President Bush' foreign policies are responsible for this tragedy? I think you won't.

You liberals need to learn that for some problems there are no solutions, just mitigations at best. But you insist that a government program will help or just wait until the next election, or, better yet, we have to investigate this very serious charge.

You warmongering right wingers need to learn that for some problems there are no military solutions, just international cooperative police actions at best.

And, you need to learn that to construct an argument based on an analogy, you need to be able to construct an analogy from a relevant, somewhat similar situation. President Bush's Secretary of State hired a bunch of mercenaries with a charter to use violence whenever needed, established immunity from prosecution for any and all crimes they might commit while in a foreign land to provide services the US military (without any such grants of immunity) has historically performed, and then set them loose in Iraq. That makes this administration responsible for what their policy of doing such things causes to happen. In this case it is the rape of an American citizen. In others it has been, by accounts so far, wanton murder of Iraqis on the streets apparently at the wrong time.

Your swing and miss at the analogy is not even superficially the same situation. Unless you are suggesting the two jailed individuals are employed by the White House in some way that would involve violence without fear of prosecution? Is that what you were trying to say?

Gang-raped then locked in van, Iraq worker says - World - theage.com.au

"she was raped by US contractors" hmmm Fast55, bottomline1 what do you got to say about that? Are you disappointed that it was not a bunch of towel heads that violated her? What defense do you now have for these boyz having a good ol's fun?

Oh look at the last sentence in that article:
"Ms Jones said she knew of at least 11 other women raped by US contractors in Iraq." Just tell me it ain't so and it's only a "liberal" conspiracy

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.
