I still like your point. I am landlord
I am also a land lord, my second son is living there, he is working hard to pay off his bills, you know the high interest ones. he didn't take my advice and got sucked in by those same people who prey on those who want a better life. I am charging him no rent or utilities to help him get on his feet so some day he can afford something

Huh? Oh, uh, yeah. I've run both. Trust me, the Komori is a beefier machine with less maintenance/repair cost. I know a shop that parked their Ryobi 12 x 18 2 color but are still using their 4 color Heidelberg, even though today's Heidelbergs are shit.
You don't have a 125% loan on that press, do you?

Maybe that's where the problem lays? You are still supporting working, grown up son.
Mine son when he didn't get the grades to go to college, went to work and spend couple of years at DVC. Then he went to college paying his own way. Sure he accepted gifts like Mercedes for graduation, but he pays for his apartament and is paying off his student (and not only) loans on his own.

Now I don't have a loan I paid it off years ago. face it the industry is going to smaller runs and the canon color copiers are taking over I didn't want to it but I got on board. I implore you to get with the times, if you don't you will be without a job in less than 2 years. Think about it.

In a contrast to car maintenance -spoiling the children is considered lack of care of them. If most Americans would care about their children and teach them how to work, instead how to grab the wealth, we wouldn't have this topic, would we?

Thats where you are wrong. he works 7 days a week to pay all of his debts while his friends just keep using the credit cards. You know the book that says owe no man, that what I'm trying to help him do.

Don't take it personally. I was talking generally since I don't know what exactly happened in your son life. Sounds like he made some errors and now is correcting them.
Few more millions Americans will have to do the same. Wanting, or not.

If you're talking about "no closing cost" home loans, you're talking about exactly the kind of loan that people with marginal credit or low incomes have been suckered (or indeed, conned) into getting.

If you own a house, look over your settlement sheet for the mortgage you have on it (assuming you have one - that's a safe bet these days). Not saying you paid it "out of pocket", but they got theirs, and it's a lot.

"Richest Man in Babylon", I think. If not, it's definitely a book every parent should make their teenagers read. It's probably a book every adult should have read at least once.
