911 Call: 'My Mother-In-Law Just Shot Me' in the Head

Thats ok at least he didnt try to kill himself and failed.

That happend in the town next to me last week.

There was a call for an attempted suicide with a handgun and an ambulance was needed. Of course they sent us in first to secure the scene.

Find the guy not only alert but combative with a hole in his right temple about the size of your pinky and blood draining out. Find the gun on the ground, a 45. It appears that he missed his brain matter completely and did some damage right behind his left eye as it was bulging outward.

It also seems that the ammo he used was a little old as it definitly lost some "kick".

Either way it seems hes going to be alright(last I heard) but probably even more depressed since he survived.

He told the paramedics that he was depressed because he lost him job a few months back, was having family problems and was drinking.

Needless to say the paramedics had to put him under so they could work on him on the way to the hospital.

How about that, a do-it-yourself frontal lobotomy! You know, he may well have an improved mood when he has convalesced.
