Impractical automotive ideas from china..

Considering most pickup trucks are used at work sites for laborous or delivery jobs..this chinese idea of pickup limousine combining the seating capacity of van with cargo capacity of pickup truck seems impractical..especially its impotent turning circle..

Maybe good for hauling upper level bodies out to a construction or some kind of work site and then used as work truck while there and then haul the bodies back to the apartment or hotel..........

Is that really a limo?

I agree with you, Robert, except that instead of hauling upper level bodies, the cabin is packed with cheap laborers en route to the job site, used as makeshift kitchen once there, and as a hearse on the way back as job site safety record is atrocious due to absence of regulatory agency such as OSHA.

Yes from the States it could be used to haul around illegals to and fro the job site but from what I see over here and in my travels in SE Asia and China in every day life they would load up the lower class workers and day labours in the back of this thing while the job site managers and supervisors (the boys who do not get their hands dirty but have work clothes on) would sit in the front seats. Also I could actually see it taking off with every day family men as well. In alomst every country over the familys are large (except China due to the 1 child policy) even if the family cannot reasonable afford it. Over my numerous years here I have seen hundreds of times 1 125 to 150cc motorcycle loaded down with a husband, wife and I shit you not 3 kids. 2 is normal and 1, well you know they have not been married that long. Only the more educated and practical Asians limit the kids they bring in to this world and realize it is more about the quality of life you give your kids rather than the quantity of kids you have. People here tend to buy cars based on how many passengers (family members) it can haul rather than the comfort and stylishness of the car. I could see this truck being sold to middle class people here for every day usage.
