Oh keep up,those guys are all like 104 years old now!, we are dealing with now, cheesy Sweet these guys are funny and take the piss
and do Sweet like Sweet, I thought you would have seen them on the box.
Ronald Klarenbeek - Lead Vocals
Having appeared on 'Stars In Their Eyes', Ronald the ultimate Sweet fan and was a personal friend of Brian. Ronald previously fronted Sweet tribute band the Hellraiserz, who played at Brian's tribute performance. Ronald actually has one of Brian's original stage outfits.
Jeff King - Drums
Jeff was in the original BC Sweet line-up, playing over 100 shows with Brian. Jeff's uncompromising style adds a distinctive hard edge to the BC Sweet sound. Jeff is also a star in his own right, having played regularly with renowned psychedelic rock band Elektrum and with several top Danish bands, including hit singles with Hej Skat and Lone Kellerman, which topped the charts there. He even toured with Right Said Fred in the early days.
Paul Green will be a new name to most Sweet fans, but has two huge links to the 'Glam' scene. He made many TV appearances as lead guitarist with Suzie Quatro (No.9 in the top 10 Glam Chart), including Cheggers Plays Pop, Crackerjack and Revolver and was also the very first guitarist with Brian's BC Sweet, before Glen took the helm.
Marc Pearson has been an innovator for over 20 years, his first band, the E-Types in 1980 being possibly the very first Beatles tribute. His Gary Numan tribute, Young Things Don't Scream, released an album with Gary's personal approval in 1987. Marc has waited in the sidelines for over three years to play with BC Sweet and when Glen asked him to take over the band, it was the realisation of a personal dream.
Again a new name, Micky has played with many bands over the years including a stint as bassist with YTDS and as lead guitarist with Soho. One of Micky's first (and favourite) musical memories is playing twin lead alongside Paul Green at Watford college way back in 1981.
