I pay little heed to what the so-called experts "say," and focus almost exclusively on what the actual data show. And so far, there is still no recession. I suspect we could be in one, but until I see the GDP data, as revised in February, I am not convinced.

With Rudy starting to spin out of control and one candidate who believes the Flintstones is a historical documentary and another who wants to dissolve the tax code and hope folks don't notice state and privatized fees skyrocket and another who flipflops across the landscape, I think any of the top three Democrats can take the White House.
Now if a third party comes in, depending from which side of the stage he enters THAT is when it will get interesting.
