Man that was funny. I wonder if that person in Chicago got the comma option it's worth the price.

But seriously I have owned many Volvos especially the 240 series, and a 1986 Volvo 240 wagon saved my wife and sons life in a bad wreck.

Well since Ford bought them I don't know. But up until 93 they were great cars.

"crunk04gtp" = this:

You are on crack, and

you are drunk; = ("crunk') ...right?

and you drive a 2004 Pontiac GTP.

Dear doG, please stay away from Volvos and Mercedes cars, you are not the right kind of person to be around those cars,

and maybe you should not even be driving if you are that high.

If we have your name right, take a few more hits on the pipe, and stay home, off the road.

I've had the new body style S40 and have the V50. Great little cars, fast (T5 option), great gas mileage, no problems thus far. A friend has a S60 T5 and loves it.

Quality control on Volvo has been abysmal from the late 80's well into the new century, (even with Ford in control of the company).

It is a little better now, but Ford says it wants to unload the "Premium Auto Group" (PAG) of which Volvo is a member.

But the new Volvo S80 is sure good looking, and I like it a lot. The resurrected Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable is supposed to be be based on that design, so all three of them should be safe cars, but I wonder how the quality and durablilty will be on the S80, Taurus and Sable.

You'd be taking a big gamble if you bought one and were forced to find out.

I'm a wagon guy, and I've never quite gotten used to the high tail light treatment Volvo's used on all their post-900 series stationwagons--they just plain look funky.

In spite of really liking my V50, agree with you on that. There are also a couple of over the top saftey nanny type things that bug me, like the seatbelt chime going off if I have my backpack sitting in the front seat, and the fact that if you let somebody off at the curb, you have to turn the car off and restart it to get the damn chime to quit. Stupid.

But I like it nonetheless. I can't stand the Bangle styling of the new 3 series beemers and the Audi feels nose heavy to me.

I think the S60 is the nicest looking car on the road. Don't know a think about it though. Had a 740 turbo wagon with a 5-speed once. A fine vehicle. Sold it to my neighbor's daughter.

Vulvas need Volvos.
