I've had a headache...

...every morning for the last 3 days.

Coffee won't knock it out. I have to take two or more Anacin tablets.

Remember them?

Anybody still take aspirin anymore or is it all Tylenol and Advil? I take those and I get nothing.

Two Anacins later and it's gone. 850 mg. of aspirin. The only thing they advertise aspirin for anymore is to prevent or reduce the effects of heart attacks. I know aspirin in teens is supposed to cause Reyes Syndrome. Is that why no one takes it anymore.

SOMEONE must take it because the still sell it and you don't see ads on TV anymore.

I still like aspirin, but I never take it on an empty stomach. Dispersible are better. For serious aches and pains I take two acetaminophen, two aspirin or ibuprofen and up to 240mg codeine phosphate, with strong coffee. That usually makes me feel better.

I tend to drink a lot of cold water, then it goes away. But if you are really getting them bad, then I would go to the doctor cuz it could be something more. Good luck

Thanks, Sly. I'll go with the cold water first.

Shoot someone with a really loud gun, or jump on a trampoline and fall and hit your head on the metal support surround. Kill, cook, and eat an enemy. Call the IRS.

As a general rule,I find methadone does an excellent job of taking the edge off of most headache pain, without that pesky vomiting. Unless of course, the vomiting is necessary as a component of your weight management regimen. That's a different horse altogether.
