My 1992 Dodge Stealth just hit 250K miles..

I wish my Benz can do the same.

Gazillions of Benzes have done just that...only you can determine whether your particular unit will make the mark. I'm presently at 229k. Last I heard, my old '73 220D was at 350k

I know, I know..

But consider this: my total maintenance and repair costs for the Stealth are under $5K during this 15 years. Gas and oil changes costs are not included, LOL.

Google Stealth Mitsubishi 3000, you'll get the idea..

I actually like Chrysler. Sebring and couple of other vehicles. But yes, dependability is not on list of the features for chryslers.

I believe all cars should be crushed by 10k miles or 1 year. That is all any make is good for. Rock chips, sun damage, dirt build up underneath, and creased leather all conspire to make any car non show worthy by 10k.

Pretty generous considering your opinion of Lucas equipped vehicles.

I drive a 1994 Plymouth Acclaim for work that just passed 150,000 but I'm afraid to add up the repair bills. However, the engine is a 3.0L Mitsubishi and other than replacing a few of gaskets due to oil leaks, that baby has been solid as a rock.

I had a 1986 Volvo 240D it had close to 300,000 on it when I sold it 5 years ago. I still see it on the road accasionally and as far as maintenance I spent probably a $1,000.00 in the 10 years I owned it.

I have a '72 Gremlin that I haven't had to put a dime in for several years now.

I may wax it this weekend.
