Speaking from recent experience, that chin spoiler HAS to be more than 3 inches off the ground.

The whole flare around the bottom just doesn't look right to me. It's 3/4 of an inch from really hot...like so many of us.

Low Chin Spoiler

OK I will say it.

A low chin spoiler on a car for Jay Leno? Hmmm... must be a case of our cars looking like our owners.

The meet ended this past Saturday. A smaller than normal turnout as they screwed the Football schedule to accommodate TV. Normally we have Keeneland by day and evening Football. That did not happen this year so Keeneland only had 18,000 or so for the Saturday races instead of normal 30,000. I gave my football tickets away and used box seats at the track. Much warmer and more comfortable.

There were a couple in the 1980s that were a bit harsh [that Miami Vice 80s Testarosa comes to mind] but otherwise, I can't recall a harsh design.

I still don't know what the idea was behind the scraping on the side was. Looks like someone took their fingers to the clay model. And then the flying buttresses were...

Well, both 500Es are in the shop getting resprayed this winter so they are completely out of commission [well, I could drive one but it has sanding and fill and primer and stuff, so no] and my wife drives the Sportline. So it is this or the 300SEL.

And Lee said, if you can find a better car, buy it. I did.
