Thanks. You know, the more I look this thing over they seem to have been light years ahead of others. This has to have been one of if not the first cars to have projector (albeit halogen) lighting. It's almost 18 years old!

Good call TK. Think of the domestic silence as an unexpected (?) benefit.

Unfortunately there is a minute amount of back and forth banter yet, however my dispatcher just called with a 12 stop load starting in Colorado and ending in Washington leaving Sunday. The sweet whine of the Volvo turbo's beckon. btw, I think I could I could beat this car in the quarter mile pulling 40,000 lbs of prickly pear........seriously.

The Z should be a mid to high fifteen sec car in quarter when running right.

Perhaps if you were to swap out the solid lead rear spoiler for one made of fiberglass...

C'mon! How bad can it be? Oh, now I see -- I just checked the curb weight and it's about 500 lb more than I would have expected... That thing weighs as much as my Stealth TT for some reason.

If you think cars were slow in 1990, go back and peruse the spec charts in 1980.

My first car at age 16 was a Javlin AMX. It was sneered upon by most of the neighborhood gear heads but I could smoke the tires from one end of the block to the other. It may have been equipped with seat belts but I was too wasted to notice.

When you remove both t tops, there is a prepubescent pubic hair spacer between them. It's essentially a vert. I imagine the necessary structure to the under-body would garner the extra weight,
