Despain is not too bad. I agree with Cigar that it is the "All NASCAR All the Time" that ruined SpeedVision for me. Once Fox bought it I knew that it would be a ratings only venue totally without regard for their audience.

Interesting part is that NASCAR ratings are DOWN by a good bit. Couldn't happen to a better bunch. The ESPN/ABC broadcast team is mind-numbing. Sunday I had two screens going, one with the Grand Prix and one with the Pre-race NASCAR. All the ABC folks could talk about was the artificial "drama" of the Chase and the tight race it made for a championship while on the other screen I was watching a reasonably natural "chase" that had a 1 point differential - with no gimmicks.

If I hear Rusty Wallace say "Car of Tomorrows" again, as if that's the accurate plural of the CoT, I'm going to fucking strangle something.

Since they are fully scheduled next year, that should go away in four more races. Then maybe it will be JTF Cars.
