Perfect October Night

I was out shooting photos earlier this evening on what turned out to be a perfect dusk for shooting. Also one shot from earlier in the day.

I think I need a bigger buffer.

This shot is glorious.

The other, not so much but still nice.

Pictures like these always make me sad.

There was a commercial a few years back where a beat up old desk lamp gets tossed on the trash heap as it gets replaced by a sleek new lamp. Then a funny accented guy comes on and makes fun of you for feeling sorry for a lump of metal. I didn't care, I still felt bad for the old lamp. On the other hand, I tossed a perfectly salvageable Fax machine out last week because newer models were smaller and easier to use.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Exceptional shots actually, especially like the contrast between the old Benz and the greenery. City shots beautiful as well. Now about those shots you are taking later tonight with that little cutie you found in in the city, when can we expect those to be posted?

My Lord, you are an artist.

heh, heh......excellent townscape snaps! Perfectly timed light conditions! Something nice and surreal about the Benz snap - vibrant greenery depicting the freshness of life against the rusty machine! heh, heh......Really great shots! heh, heh..........

Well darling, I use an Olympus E500 for digital work and Pentax 6X7 Medium Format for film work and Olympus OM-4T for Sports Film work.
