About Maryland, well I live in Virginia now, and as you may know our penalties are now insane, and for residents only. He'd have a $3000 fine for 23 over. That would be worth fighting.

Something is definitly wrong with that law.

All this is a another way to generate revenue. It has NOTHING to do with saftey enforcement.

The fact that they only charge the locals that should raise an eyebrow too. Im certain that this law can be taken to court and abolished by an experienced firm as unreasonable and excessive fine for the crime committed(btw its not a criminal offense, its a traffic offense)

I really hope they bring the bastards down for that one(not reelected) and the law is struck down so other states dont get the same idea!!!

Dig,
It was the police who said he clocked me at 78.

I honestly did not know my speed at the time. But, I do know I was not going 55. I have driven that road countless of times, even at times when I was doing 65 and people passed me like I was sitting still.

You are right, Route 301 was made to travel in much higher speed. The stretch of the road where I was clocked was pretty deserted. If you remember the road, I was somewhere near the Farmer's Market just north of Waldorf. I think the population around there mostly make up of squirrels.

Squirrels and the occupants of the Cheltenham Veteran's Cemetery. You were a real danger to the local populace that night. It's not as if Maryland doesn't have the chance to get you SEVERAL times on that road with the 10 or so red light cameras that are installed.

YouTube - Saudi reckless..Lexus LX470.....240 km without driver
^^^
Wonder what kind of a ticket he would get if he were in usa .

One prop i can give to the Saudi police is that they don't really hand out any tickets for speeding (never got one ) but they will put you in jail for one night if you break a signal light.

You see the problem with people in Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries is that they have a lot of time and not a lot of things to do. So basically if you live over their you find creative ways to entertain your self. You see we in our country we don’t have women nor do we have movies and our religion restricts us from other things –so that’s why you see us either fighting or driving cars

Some have a lot of time on their feet, as well.
YouTube - Only in Saudi Arabia

The comments are equally divided as to whether it's real or not.
