Off topic a tad, but my 1st exposure to a homosexual pickup ocurred in one of the Atlanta airport bathrooms in about 1970. I was using the urinal and a guy junped out of one of the stalls, walked up to the urinal right next to me, and started shaking the Hell out of it. I zipped up and left pretty quickly.
ROTF, I remembered hearing guys joking about "if you shake it more than 3 times, you're a homo", but I didn't understand it until then. In case it's not obvious, I had a pretty sheltered puberty.
I've only had one, I was about 18 or so at the time, at an interstate highway restroom in Arkansas. As I peed in the urinal, this fellow leaned over into my space, peering down at Feel The Love's primary asset, and asked "hey man, you want to get that off?" I did pretty much as you did. I think he said his name was Bruce or Larry or something.
Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
