Oh really? I think the same thing about yours. I will take it if you are going to discard it.

Let's just say that my avatar has never once touched its bony tuckus upon the vast leather expanses of a caddy's acre-wide bench seat. It also prefers Scandinavian minimalist interiors to the garish NOLA brothelesque motif.

For a moment there I thought I had wandered into a AIM session. Well here are the shots of the day. I am trying to schedule when to head to LA, looks like it will be Monday that I leave Santa Cruz.

This doesn't really matter, but just to set it straight:
My folks went to UCSC, which is why you probably saw so many Banana Slug T-shirts, etc. during your stay.

I, however, went to UCSD, graduated in 2004, and am now in graduate school studying acupuncture.

anyway, thanks again for all your help, McBear. Oh and by the way, do you mind if I ask how much you paid for that black beauty? Or is that sort of question a faux pas in a forum like this?

(and no, I am not Clay Aiken.)

Good lowered, is it possible that there's a school mascot more bizarre than my alma mater's geoduck?

Hey Mark,

Welcome to CA. Remember me...we've been emailing back and forth for the past few weeks. I'm just about to pull the trigger on a '93 500E this week. I'm in Ventura and the car is in Santa Barbara (or possibly in Van Nuys). I would love (if you have the time) to get your opinion on it. I'm buyin' dinner and drinks if you can. If not, call me anyways, this would be a good stop if you're driving down the coast.

Thanks

Henry

That explains the confusion.

As for the cost. I struck a deal via long distance based on one set criteria. When I got there it was somewhat less that described in several little ways. As I venture away from Santa Cruz I will continue to tally the costs. I should have a good idea by the time I get home. Hopefully it will be around what I originally planned to pay.

A travel note.

I got a call yesterday [Sunday] morning bright and early that my mom [83] is starting to flake abit due to new meds and my continued absence. I pointed Eastward as soon as I could from that point. My intent was to head South and still have an evening with everyone but the I 5 Bonfire made me leery of traffic problems so I instead aimed out 80. I am just outside of Salt Lake UT or SLUT although I don't think they appreciate that too much.

As has been the nature of my trip, I have yet to find a hotel that actually has fully functioning WiFi. Tonight I have been only able to log on for a few minutes at a time. I will post when I can. There should be more pics on the gallery soon IF the connection stays up.

Kentucky
