Ask yourself what long term good it does to deny "I'madinnerjacket" his request?
For selfish, small minded old people, I suppose there is a rationale that says the small satisfaction of saying no to the guy in public is worth it. They ultimately have a short term outlook on things, given they are selfish and small minded and about to expire anyway. But, for anyone not in those circumstances, please explain what good it does to tell the man "no."
