Perhaps, but do the build cars anywhere but England? I guess I'm confused on the criteria. I thought there were still cars built in England, regardless of their status as children of other companies abroad.
Oh sure , Nissan and Vauxhall and the like have assembly plants in the UK , but most titter on tax breaks from the government or they will be of to Spain or somewhere they can get grants to run their plants , The love of cars is in the blood here but the future is not cars, but weapon systems , the British have sold the lot of to countries that can't read the writing on the wall , it's not buy mistake that the lot have been sold .

Indeed its not a mistake and about time. Look at how much money Rover cost the taxpayer and for what? Its now built in China under the name Rowe and a pretty nice looking car for a fraction of the price. ITS WAKE UP TIME AND NOT JUST FOR THE UK.
