Anyone got a Tom Tom?

And do you know how to get it to pair via Bluetooth to your 'phone?

I have tried both 0000 and 1234 as pair codes and it continues to fail.

HELP!!!!!!!

I don't know what a Tom Tom is but I got my phone to pair with my car and my PC the preset code was in the manual so I just looked it up as I was in the same situation as you; have you checked there? If you don't have the manual try downloading a PDF off the net.

Well, it was a gift, so I don't think I will be returning it.

heh, heh....
pretty simple, switch on your phone's BLUETOOTH, make sure it is set to 'discoverable' or 'visible to all', pick 'mobile phone' in TT menu, follow instructions, password is 0000 on your phone to connect to TT, make TT a 'trusted device' on your phone otherwise you will have to punch password everytime. TT is the best indy sat-nav device........go discover! heh, heh.......

Can you exchange it for the gramin? BTW, exchanging a gift is not considered a bad thing. The person who gave you the gift probably didn't know which one to buy and relied on TV commercials. If you are unsure then just ask the person if he/she would mind if you could exchange it.

Tom Tom get consistently high scores in all consumer surveys I've seen in the UK so I'm sure your 'gifter' chose well and you will enjoy the device.

What kind of men are you? Did you lose your hunting instincts and can't find your way in the highway jungle? What's next, the Momy device?
