That database methodology has already been proven to be flawed, relying only on anecdotal reporting from media. Nice try. Try using the folks at the UN or World Health Organization's numbers. Unfortunately they have entirely too much experience at this sort of thing.

And interestingly the US counts on the UN and WHO numbers when they want to make a point - when it is in their best interest. Convenient. The guys at IBC have their heart in the right place but their db methodologies are just not up to the task.

Because we are suppose to be ethical and moral. And there are not shades of gray in killing innocent civilians, whether 77,000 or 500,000.

Remember, we are not at war against the Iraqi people. Never have been.

This comment should be written off as nothing more than a foolish rant from a senile old bigot.

It deserves no further discussion.

What that doesn't show is that just over 3k US soldiers have died in hostile action, which is often way overstated by the loonies here. Compare that to the same time in Vietnam...

I'd love for you to look the parents of any dead Iraqi in the eyes and tell them to just make another. You're old enough to be a parent. How would you feel if one of your kids died under similar circumstances after you spent years of love, nurturing and energy into raising that child? I think you'd feel a little different.
Both of you guys are saying the same thing, so I can give you the same answer:
Yes, lives are cheap over there, and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to get their heads examined.
They can send their children out with bombs strapped to their chests, and try to kill as many people as possible, often their own, could you do that?
In the aftermath of death and destruction they cheer them as martyrs, what does that say about how they “feel”? They apparently look on them as heroes, so what the hell, we can make a few more heroes and they can try again.

“Those savages would kill us in a heart beat if they find us in their towns and villages, we must exterminate them first; get'er done!”
They have done that often enough haven’t they prof.? Wasn’t it YOU that bitched up a bloody blue streak when a convoy was torn up a while back, and some truckers were killed. You said our guys were cowards because they regrouped before they went back in and killed a bunch of these heroes. You can’t have it both ways, or maybe, with your way of thinking you can.

( 1 ) You make the same mistake that so many others have, they do not think like we do, and stop thinking that they do. After much weeping, gnashing of teeth, and screaming “Death to the Great Satan.” They brag about who’s kid killed the most, and could care less about who was actually killed.
(2) My kid would not be in that situation. Mine would be smart enough NOT to die for his country, but like Patton said, “make the other poor bastard die for HIS country.”

Oh, Bruce I am with ya there buddy, remember, I am cured...
The real cowards here are the villagers that decided to shoot our people because we drove through their town as if we need their permission. You see I now have come to realize that we are there to liberate that country from them and their ignorance. Am I on the right track Bruce? I don't want to go back to that camp you had me sent to. Please don't call the feds on me please...
