And he does have a point , but it wasn't to my understanding that it was the US that the British were fighting in which is now the US as much as anyone it was the French no ?, but it was much about vented interests by 1941, Britain has never really gone the whole hog to hold on to any of it's colony's , they can READ the writing on the wall very well , most they have let go quite sweetly ,and some it has just run away from .
