Yup, Ron Paul represents everything that the GOP claims to be, but has in truth long since abandoned. And that is exactly why the religious right and neocon hijackers of the GOP fear and loathe him, since there is no greater personification of their hypocrisy than Dr. Paul.

As far as anyone being unelectable, that is self-fulfilling prophecy forwarded by the power-brokers of our now separated-at-birth political parties. As long as everyone continues to believe it, it will continue to be true.

Don't forget Ross Perot.

^I voted for ol' Ross. Didn't realize at the time he was a bit loony. As far as all this other gibberish, there are redeemable values that have a place beyond the deconstructive misfit. Being an outcast is not a means to an end.

So now you condone the abandonment of lifelong principles toward the end of conformity. Perhaps the character in your avatar has taken too great a liking to his new attire.
