Comcast help

Got home at one in the morning. Wife is asleep and my kid went back to Spain for a couple of weeks before school starts.
They installed the new box which is the size of an old Walkman and there is a new controller on the table with 10 million buttons. I cannot figure out how to get this bitch a-hummin'. There is a red button that says "All On" which seems to turn on the tv but I still have to turn the sound system with its controller. A red and yellow light turn on at the box but all I get is snow. Please help, I was hoping for some primo Spank-o-Vision tonight.

Don't have your model. My Comcast box for digital stuff has a green light on when it is actually up and running. To make the remote work with the box, you have to press the cable button at the forward end, same with tv and the stereo (aux on my remote).

I actually use the stereo remote to run the whole system. It is better, but not quite up to running the details on the tv, so I am stuck with the tv remote to fiddle with the tv settings and selections.

Sounds to me like you have not turned the Comcast box on yet. Jim

U need rabbit oars. Go boating, whack a rabbit with said paddle, place it on faulty tube, balance a slender b day candle tween ears, light and presto. Reception.

I understand this may be sexist and old-fashioned of me but in my day after returning from a long trip sleeping women were to be awoken and defiled regardless of the time and particularly in an empty house.

You've obviously never had two cold and wet dog noses prodding your taint.
