The new Chrysler ......

with new CEO Bob Nardelli (former CEO of Home Depot for those that did not know)

1) Warranty work is now do it yourself

2) Salespeople now great customers with: "I don't work in this department"

3) Buyers make purchases on self service scanners

4) Everypickup comes with a 4 x 8 sheet of drywall

5) When in doubt - use duct tape

6) Questions are limited to one minute - sales cubicles have timers

7) Less chrome, more orange trim

8) Hot Dog carts in the lobby

9) Day laborers for hire in the parking lot

10) New Motto:, "you can sell it, we can help"

I have nothing but praise for Home Depot and their customer service. I've returned stuff out of the box, ripped box, dog chewed box, I've even stooped as low as to return a pump that I used to extract water from one of my apartment rentals that was still dripping water and never had a problem. Before you call me a cheap-ass, I'll tell you that I purchase FAR more than I return. That said, if only MBUSA and their affiliated dealerships could take half of their(Home Depot) customer first approach I would be content.
