RX-7, small oops (well, four small oops)

My RX-7 is running so great! I know with these new tires I'm really going to shed time off!

Or maybe I might shed something else...OOPS!!

I looked at it carefully a couple of times, they just came loose. Also thought I heard the guy say "Had all winter to tighten those nuts, just didn't f***ing do it."

Track days are fun, lots to think about. Glad he isn't a pilot.

As with most things in life, check your nuts before hitting the GO button.

The local Benz club runs autocrosses around here, part of the "tech" inspection is to check the lug bolts/nuts. Apparently these guys don't bother, bet they will from now on....

I like the way the driver's foot stays planted on the brake pedal (see the brake lights) long after the car has pancaked onto the pavement. I wonder if he set the emergency brake before he got out ot the car?

The co. truck had a flat so I got the errand guy to go have it fixed (no tellin where.) I happened to drive the truck home the next day, and after already driving it about 60 miles, the rear driver side wheel pops off and passed me on a curve. Fun curve, that one. After regaining direction, I pulled over and of course the studs are useless. Flatbed to dealer. Rear rotor was toast too of course. Grrrr....
