So they're not attacking Majors anymore, just targeting the other ranks?

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. (Winston Churchill)

Let's look at some real facts. How about American casualites for July?

Let's see:

We suffered 86 last month, hailed as some kind of breakthru by the brainwashed:

Operation Iraqi Freedom: U.S. Casualties July 2007

But what about in 06? Let's see, we suffered 51.

Operation Iraqi Freedom: U.S. Casualties July 2006

And 05? That would be 55.

Operation Iraqi Freedom: U.S. Casualties July 2005

So Jaywhack, American casualities have increased about 40% for the same time period. So how can "attacks" be down? Attacks against whom? Looks the the Iraqis are giving each other a break, so they can kill us instead, doesn't it?

Facts are such a bitch.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

I am not really the Grammar Nazi, more like his Scottish cousin Grammar McNit [trained by Roudolf Hess when he parachuted into Scotland in '41] . If I were trying to be the real deal I would not have time to work.

Upscale doesn't matter. I live in a 60 year old neighborhood away from the McMansions. I also have no mortgage.

I just require 2400 sq ft of rented garage space for OCD.

I would hope that one is over 60 years old. Mine is a Cape Cod, which as I get older is becoming less cozy with steps heading both up and down.

It is about time for a change but we will still find an older neighborhood.
