Draft? Good!!!!!!!!!

Maybe we can prolong the war in Iraq and quicken the demise of the Republicunt party.

Oh, forget to mention a whole bunch of armchair pro-Iraqi-invasion generals too.

Read what you said. Even YOU admit the issue is how we "end" it. Only fools like Jayhawk want to "stay the course". The issue is only "HOW" we end it. Except for a few stupid and stubborn "death before dishonor" armchair and keyboard patriots, and those getting rich off it, the war is a fiasco.

Shame on you if you want to drag it out some more.

Your beloved sky pilot's quotation indeed reflects your warped glorification of things military. Revel in it all you want, I could care less. I have seen people like you before, there are a few of them still around, still fighting the war in Vietnam in their own minds.

The military, and our police, are to be respected, but they tend to attract a lot of sociopathic personalities, such as William Calley, and the Kent State National Guard crew, remember them?

The military is a tool of last resort, we need it of course, but that is all it is. It is when it is exalted beyond all reason and gets policy making power that things get dangerous. I think Gen. Douglas MacArthur was right in proposing the strategy he did in Korea, but Truman had to reign him in.

Probably you supported Goldwater/Lemay in 1964.

The point that escapes you here is that like Vietnam, Iraq was a mistake, and any fool can get into a war, but you had better think hard before sending the foot soldiers in, somewhere.

If you want to go into Iraq you had better be sure of why you went, there was no good reason to go. Wolfowitz, Cheney, Rumsfield and Karl Rove along with Bush, sold us that.

It was bull$hit drenched with patriotic perfume, but in the end it was still bull$hit.
Frankly, I will NEVER understand people like you, that want peace at any cost. Those that would rather be a slave as long as they don'thave to worry about anything except when their next beating will come......

The President dodged the draft? Funny, I though he was in the Texas Air National Guard.
Apparently he did more for his country then you ever have............. or am I wrong somehow?
