More than five, and still not done.
I personally like Glenfarclas 105 and the flavor of Glen Ord.
The Glenmorangie 12 (port) is a favorite of many.
Wow, a man after my own heart. I have the Lagavulin 16 at home, along with a Macallan 18 (bottle dated 1978). Both are high atop my list of favorites.
It's been a long time since I tried Talisker, but I didn't remember being terribly fond of it. Bowmore is a good one, as is the Glenfarclas.
Glenmorangie and Glenlivet are kinda like "intro to single malt" brands, but there was a Glenlivet aged a bit longer that was acceptable.
My old boss got me hooked on cigars and scotches. When I owned the nightclub, I was still working for him. He asked if I could get a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label, which a distributor comped for me (two bottles) after we made a larger-than-normal order. I drank it once, when my son was born, and again at the millenium. It's been in the satin lined box ever since, with one exception.
My idiot toothless dumbfuck in-laws came down to visit, and ol' gramps found that in the liquor cabinet and decided to make "highballs" as he calls them with the Blue Label, and motherfucking cocksucking Diet Coke. That's right, a $400 bottle of blended 20-year-old single malt scotches, being mixed with Diet Coke.
I think, had I killed him, it'd have been viewed as justifiable homicide.
