if you see a Mosquito flying towards you...

...do you allow it to land on your skin and bite you...or would you kill it before it had a chance to do damage to your skin?

simple question.

It wouldn't come near me. I eat Marmite and spray with DEET. Bring it on you skeetas!

And this means I don't have to go to the local pond and poison it or drain it and in so doing wipe-out a bunch of innocent dragonflies, newts, toads etc. (Being British, I might pick on a few of the frogs though :-)

Coming from a Minnesotan, where the state bird is the mosquito , I let them land and slap the life out of them. They aren't like flies where they fly away, they love blood and will die for it.

You have to get them after they land, but before they put in their stinger.
