Yeah, we did the Universal thing a couple of days already. Will do one more at least on our week pass. Today might be Disney, which we're compelled to do for at least one day (probably "Magic Kingdom" and MGM parks). We're also hoping the weather clears enough on Friday to allow NASA to launch whatever it is at 5:30am, then tour Kennedy. If the launch is on, we're gonna head out early and catch it.
It seems like there's some kind of coordinated English visit to Orlando, that those Catalunyan bastards have latched on to. I like Barca and all, but man, those people are nuts around here.
Chelsea, Man. U., and Arsenal seem to be the predominant football jerseys in attendance from the EPL, and only Barca and Real Madrid from La Liga have surfaced. One poor kid was still wearing his aged Beckham jersey. Oh, and a family full of Irishmen - two wearing FAIreland jerseys, the rest in akwardly American-inspired clothing, pasty as all fuck, burning to death in in a painfully long Hulk queue (well worth the wait, ultimately) was pretty humorous.
Watching a Russian girl working at Universal explain the all-you-can-eat meal pass to another Russian was intriguing. She had no perceptible accent when speaking English.
The weatherpeople keep saying this place is down 10" on the year for rainfall...I can't imagine that. It's been raining a lot, every day here, for the past month (since I've been watching it). Exactly how much damn rain does this place need?
