I think you're confusing the name "Pollack" with the name "Pollard."
Pollack has been charged with nothing. He is alleged to have been a member of a group, some of whose members were charged in an espionage plot. To my knowledge, nobody has alleged that Pollack did anything. If you were an actual American you would be aware of the idea of innocence until proven guilty in a court of law. You would understand that an allegation is different from a charge.
Now Pollard, on the other hand, was actually charged with an espionage crime (giving top secret information to Israeli intelligence on several occasions) convicted and sentenced to life in prison, IIRC. Israel has pressured each administration since his conviction to release Pollard to emigrate to Israel. Israel has been uniformly unsuccessful in that effort.
The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and thatís what I intend to reverse.
