Jaybaugh, how is it that you find this offensive? Telling the guys who pay these goons you won't buy their products is the best way to address the question of whether or not the Fox News media circus is the best way to get information to the American public. Anything else is not really American.

For example, if their message at Fox is so compelling, you should have nothing to worry about - anything the "liberal" activists say or do won't have any effect on the advertisers as the loss of the much larger group who loves that stuff by shutting the shows down will overwhelm the liberal activists who might not buy the advertiser's goods if the show goes on and on. Right? So what is your objection?

No different from the Christian moralists threatening advertisers of programs they don't like.

The marketplace of ideas is a bitch in a democracy.

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and that’s what I intend to reverse.

See what happens when Fox went after Imus and his advertisers. And O'Really started telling his viewers to go after the "liberal Hollywood types" by not going to their movies. And whinny little Bill goes after the DailyKOS[which did FACT CHECKS on O'Really's programs] and tells viewers to go after their advertisers?

Now it will be interesting to see if advertisers will support lying and obfuscation and hounding and bully “talk TV” once their feet are too the fire and they have to shoulder some of the responsibility.

OR will whinny little Bill buckle when Newscorp tells him that the advertiser’s dollars are more important than the O’Really ego.

As usual you have your "facts" all discombobulated: It wasn't FOX that went after Imus, it was the racist duo of Sharpton and Jackson.

My very own evangelical aunt sent me a spam email imploring me to boycott Pepsi. Something about leaving "under god" out of the Pledge on one of their fancy can designs.

People love free speech until you say something they don't like.

I didn't say it was just Fox. A lot of folks went after Imus. Fox was one of them.

I had no problem w/ what FOX did because the Iman was providing the only real competition w/ FOX And Friends In The Morning show. It is the American way to try and bring down your competition. IMO...

The real crime/sin was committed by the two leftwing losers as personified by Sharpton/Jackson, et.al... I think it was beneath even you to single out FOX News as the culprit in that deplorable matter!
