But anyway, that is the workout that I do...I never spend more than 45 minutes at the gym and I take 30-45 seconds between sets.

I go 5 sets of 5 but they are extremely HEAVY. In other words, I probably use 90% of my max for each rep.

The 5x5 routine can be found here and it works....I use my own exercises though.

Watch out for injuries, if I were you I would start with weights to get the proper motion then increase to where you can't complete a set.

Don't believe BMI, it's a bunch of bull. My ribs stick out at 195lb and my doctor called me "obese" by BMI standards. I'm also 5'8". There are measurements that are far more acurate that correspond with weight and height. BMI is the most basic of the basic. Along those same standards, the "average" man's arms are only 12" in circumference around the flexed bicep!!!! HAHAHAHA

Start as soon as you wake up tmorrow man, don't just set a date. Try some yoga tonight and everytime you want to exercise to loosen up.
You need to warm, properly before you do resistance training or you will injure yourself and you will be back where you started or even worse.
I find yoga an excellent way to set a rythm and set up the routines where you won't get bored. Flexibility and breathing are important as much as being lean.
You are right bro, I will be at the gym at 5:30AM tomorrow! Thanks!

DO some push ups tonight! I've been getting back at it with limited options (I'm on a ship), and there are PLENTY of things you can do at home. Sit ups if you can or crunches, even some jumping jacks in your yard.

Yup. My trainer suggested that I buy a jump rope and I finally picked one up today. He said it is an excellent form of cardio.

Not before he goes to sleep that usually elevates anxiety, not a good idea
Mornings are best, again for most people

I'll agree. If I crank out 50 push ups or so before taking out my contacts and brushing my teeth.... I can't get to bed for 30 min or so... sucks. I try to do it after work when I'm still sweaty... your body is already in 'work' mode.

Also, make sure to not get discouraged if you cannot do a single "pull-up" or a single "dip".......I started on the assisted machine that had some weights added and that made it easier. I can now complete 9 chin-ups and 30 dips without any assistance. Heck, I even started to put a 40lb weight between my feet when doing dips.
